Emma was a spoiled house dog. She would only eat certain foods, and lived the luxurious life. She belonged to my son who lived in Ohio. When he moved to Mexico, he brought Emma. He left to work in Louisiana, but Emma stayed behind. It was an adjustment at first, but soon she was transformed from a princess to a savage!! She loves the outdoors, hunting, getting filthy and playing with our other dogs and cats. The real 'dog' came out. Guess it's true, you can take the dog out of the wild, but you can't take the wild out of the dog. Puggles are soooo versatile and can adapt to any situation. They're the best of both breeds - they have the loving and great temperment of the Pug, plus the energy and hunting abilities of the Beagle. Emma gets along with all of our animals, dogs and cats. She's a great watchdog too and commands the respect of anyone who comes to the gate. I wouldn't trade her for any other.
