My roomate bought shotzy for me when we lived in Ky. I couldn't stand it anymore I needed a dog. I have always had animals and it was killing me. I always raised poodles and she wasn't fond of poodles so I said ok then you pick the breed. So we were in a pet store one day and my roomate said what is that? and of course it was a puggle but I was unsure at the time as well since they were a new hybrid breed so we asked a lady and immediatly fell in love but they were 800.00 so we decided on not getting one,so I looked up breeders and found one a few miles away for alot cheaper. Now this is where it gets funny. There were 3 puppies in the cage when we got there so she picked one up and so did I, then at the same time we looked at poor shotzy in the cage and he gave us those cute puppy eyes of his and we melted, that was the end of my non doggie days, we were sold and the next thing I know he's no longer 3lbs he's 35lbs- They grow fast but never lose that puppy cuteness.
